So what did we think of this film?
I was pretty creeped out. When I went to sleep last night I found that all household noises were amplified and scary. Then a streetlight outside my window went out.
Anyway, I think they did a good job with this film. Zombies are very cliched, but they made them different enough to be interesting. There was some good cinematography here too. The first shot of Jim as he woke up was memorable for me because of the closeups on his eyes.
The most disturbing scene for me was when Frank got the drop of blood in his eye. I didn’t see that coming, and the realization of what was taking place came over quickly and devastatingly.
In the second half, the whole plotline around the renegade soldiers was very disturbing. Especially the infected guy they had chained up.
Two problems with this film:

I would have preferred a less happy ending.

Where did Jim get the baseball bat? It was supposed to be England! Both times I went to England I never saw a baseball bat. He should have been using a cricket bat to whack zombies.
