3 more installments of Star Wars?

I remember a few years back Lucas said the SW story was supposed to be a total of 9 episodes. The first set being the middle 3, the newest series the first 3 and the final 3 to be done later and closing out the aftermath of RotJ. I also remember hearing the rumor that this was it for the franchise.

So does anyone know what may happen with this story? Is there any talk of finishing off the series? Lucas himself said (sorry, no cite for the quote) that his dream/intention was to make the full 9 part series.

I grant you, there’s no way of searching for it. However, given that we’ve already got several dozen STAR WARS threads, let’s try to keep new ones to minimum. Life is a little more coherent if we have one long (if rambling) thread on a topic, rather than half a dozen small ones.
