35 people more wrong than me

I don’t get it?

See, I can leave out significant parts of quotes too.

Question 7 is a perfectly sensible question, since Brazil is a country with more than one major city in it.

It should be “more wrong than I”.

Well, OK, smart guy, is it being held out in the country or in a city?

A city, silly.

But are they more consistently wrong?

You assume that’s possible.

In Rio?

The World Cup is being held in multiple cities.

That reminds me, how the hell can a whole city dance on the sand? Do they have a lot of earthquakes there?

At the beach.

I loved #12, Robby’s rough night. Don’t put my grandpa in a comma!

And bigger than the continental US. It’s almost as “stupid” as asking where some event in the US is being held.

Don’t worry, Adaher. I thought it was funny. You have much More self awareness (when you choose to) than many of the other posters on these esteemed honeypots.

Okay, in case some people don’t get it, the Olympics are held in a city, the World Cup is held in a country at many location. In the case of Brazil, some of them are thousands of miles apart.
The locations are Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo, Brasilia, Belo Horizonte, Salvador, Fortaleza, Recife, Porto Alegre, Natal, Cuiaba, Curitiba and Manaus. So, asking where the Brazil World Cup is being held has a legitimate answer. While the question could have been worded slightly better, its inclusion on this list shows a lack of knowledge by the person who compiled it.

Sorry if the explanation meanders, just like that river twisting through a dusty land.

Please carry on making fun of adaher

It doesn’t show a lack of knowledge on the part of the compiler. It shows an assumption on the part of the compiler that people understand how World Cups work, which isn’t really that odd.

Isn’t it the opposite? If people understand how it works, then the funny fails.

Number 4 is even a meme, called hotdog legs. The idea is trying to figure out whether you are looking at hotdogs or legs.

It’s only funny if everyone except the person who posted the tweet understand how it works.

I’m pretty sure Barraco and Barner were detectives on the short lived ‘CSI Flagstaff’.
