3D Babes!!!

And other 3D things. Make your workmates think you are mental or severely cross-eyed.

It’s more or less worksafe.

Oh, and you can rotate them with the mouse. (only the women. Not the other stuff)

I’d LOOOOOVE to be able to play Unreal Tournament like this!!!

I can’t manage to see them in 3D. I never have a problem with the ones in books, but on the computer screen it’s very hard to do.

Odd, I can’t do the ones in books, but I have no problem with these.

The site says some are better than others at it. Keep practicing. It helps if you tilt your head left or right very slightly until the corresponding bits of each image are at the same level.

I had a look around the site. There’s some cool stuff. Like this. Also (warning) some Not safe for work links (from the main page)

Wow! That works pretty well!!

I tried crossing my eyes, and it looked pretty good! But then I went one up, one down, and it didn’t work so darn well.

Tripler
And I was looking at the plants, you perverts.

Actually most of the women are pretty average. And the 3d works better on the plants. (and other non woman pictures)

Neat. I had to try the bridge a few times - I couldn’t seem to get my eyes to cross enough to see the whole thing in the center the first time.

Try moving your head left and right (or up and down) while looking at the dragon statue. Creepy.

I find it helps if I first defocus my eyes then cross them. As soon as the images line up it snaps into focus.

Gosh. If I tilt my head sideways and do it, I see Padeye’s post floating in front of my monitor. Neat!

I’m a monoc. No can do. :frowning:

… and I’ve got an asymmetrical optic nerve which makes this sort of thing difficult.

Interesting fact (which, no doubt, you’ll all already know but I’ll wheel it out anyway): Andre de Toth, the director of the 1952 3-D masterpiece “House of Wax” had vision in only one eye and therefore didn’t get what he was filming.

Am I the only one who eschews the eye crossing and in place of that, elects to quickly drag the mouse from left to right and back whilst saying “Auntie Em! Auntie Em! It’s a twister”? Am I?

Anybody else notice that the 3d image seems considerably smaller than each of the two images it’s made from? I find that strange.

I’ve noticed that too. I’m sure there’s a logical explanation for it.
Where’s Q.E.D. He knows everything*

[sub]I mean that in a good way*

sigh These things make me sad. I’ve never been able to see them and never will be. Stupid eyes…

Can you go cross-eyed? Some people are incapable. (It’s a sign of strong eye-muscles)
