3D printer advice

How could are those in the $250-$300 range? Creality makes several in this range.
There are various aquarium parts featured on Thingverse.

Creality makes 3D printers in the $250 to $300 range.

I do not have a 3D printer and certainly am not an expert, but I’m interested in them and follow the threads on Trainboard.com to see what other modelers are finding out about them.
The Ender 3 Pro seems to be popular and does indeed cost between ~$250 - $300 and people do a lot with them. I guess it depends on what you want to do with it. What I’ve read there is that if you want to do really fine detail work you might want to look into resin printers like the Anycubic Photon or Elegoo Mars. They’re slower, messier and more finicky to work with, but can create more detailed stuff.

I would advise you to read the 3D Printing forums there and elsewhere and watch a bunch of YouTube videos to see which machine(s) are able to do what you want to do.

Sorry I don’t know any more than that, but that should get you pointed in a direction to learn what you want to know.

Thanks, Bumbazine.
Nice bear!

Curious to know if you bought a 3D printer (yet).
I’m considering getting one myself. Maybe.

Not yet, I don’t need it, I’d just like to play with it.
