Because a cell phone is actually something you don’t need. Because you don’t need it, they need to get the most out of you they can so they jack you around with about a bizillion plans which confuse the hell outa you and give you a headache. Unlike you, most poeple believe they need this and just pick one to get it over with.

You know, I can do stubborn. I can resist all change. I can refuse to use useful products. I can make it easy or hard. I use the things I need and want I want.
I have gone back, yes you can, sort of, and cold and wet and alone are not what they were when I was young.
Also, 99% of the calls that I feel I must make are long distance and with an elderly mother who needs to be able to get me ‘right now’ if she needs to… well, easy call for me to make.

I don’t care what plans they have available because I know what I need and how much $ I can spend. Kinda makes it simple for me. But then, I’m kind of a simple guy.
