48 Below this morning!!

I hate you.

Right now outside, it’s -28C. That’s in the exurbs of Toronto. In Bancroft, it’s -33.

In two days, my friends are taking their pallid northern bodies to lay on the beach for a week in the Dominican Republic. -30 to +30. But then they have to come back…

Just another indication that women are actually aliens in human form.

It’s actually +1 in Saskatoon at the moment. Turns out Alberta is good for something after all. Thanks for the chinook, guys.

I LAUGH AT YOU, CENTRAL/EASTERN CANADA! WE HAVE OUR REVENGE!

Forecast says +1 here in Regina on Thursday. It’s only -7 right now anyway, it feels downright springlike after last week. If only I could be rid of this cursed cough.

Someone remind me I don’t have to start the car this week.

Hey, the chinook wind isn’t supposed to blow that far!

We’ll put up a special deflector to send some of it down Minnesota way, just to get Tastes of Chocolate off our back.

Adding your weight to the snow may do damage, especially with the cold making the shingles or other roofing material brittle. The snow rake may be a better idea if you can reach far enough with it. (My neighbour had problems like this with his roof one year because of climbing up to remove a heavy snow buildup.)

Too late. It was -25F (actual, no windchill) last Saturday night at my place in Northern Minnesota. And it’s on track to be our snowiest winter ever.

Ever!

And, we’d happily have you install your deflector–if you only ran it from mid-June to late August.
