53 bicycles: A lateral thinking puzzle

Your son isn’t anything like these boys is he?

I’m not sure how tricky this one is, might be a one and done.

Because of a bet, a body part is revealed. This leads to hundreds of petabytes of network traffic. Why?

I hated that episode. I’d actually never seen the show before, and I watched it because it was a Jewish-themed ep, as described in the on-screen guide. I couldn’t believe how bad it was.

Heh, Rivkah, I was out of college before I learned that my mom actually liked the moustache I grew. Which is a good thing, because I grew it as an expression of teenage defiance, and if I’d known she liked it, I’d have done something else.

To Folly:
1: Was the body part one which is normally, in the US, considered indecent to expose?
2: Before the reveal, would the body part have been covered by typical clothing?

I’m pretty sure I know the gist of this one, but I’ll wait to just dive in until others give it a shot.

Something to do with strip poker?

Was the context of the bet important?

  1. Yes
  2. Yes

Actually, I thought of another possibility:
1: At the time of the reveal, was the body part attached to a living body?
2: Was it a human body part?

No.

Yes.

  1. Yes.
  2. Yes.

OK, I didn’t know the gist, because I was expecting a “no” to both of my first two questions. I was thinking that the body part was a scalp, and that someone shaved their head on a bet.

EDIT:
So given that this is a typically-indecent part:
1: Was the body part a female breast or portion thereof?
2: Was the body part a penis?
3: Was the body part the vulva or a portion thereof?
4: Was the body part an anus?

  1. Yes

Did it have anything to do with breastfeeding?

Did the person whose breast was revealed lose the bet?

Was the breast reveal intentional?

No.

  1. No… not really.
  2. Probably…

Was it a “Wardrobe malfunction”?

With your use of quotation marks, I’m going to say ‘yes’.

Was this during the Superbowl halftime show?

Yes. Assuming the ‘this’ refers to the body part being revealed.

OK, so that pretty much has to be Janet Jackson and “Nipplegate”. Just to be sure:
Was the breast that was revealed Janet Jackson’s?

But I have no idea what a bet has to do with anything.

Digging a bit into the recesses of my memory:

Are the lyrics of the song they were singing immediately before the reveal relevant?
Would Justin Timberlake (I think he was the other singer, right?) have been one of the parties to the “bet”?
