Seems that it occurred in a sparcely populated area:
I hope people are ok over there. Google earth only shows a riverbed but no big population centers.
Good that there are no big cities around there, but villages with lots of earthen homes are not so good.
Do any of our Dopers post from that area? Are you okay?
