Windows Explorer (XP) tell me I have 7 MPT Devices installed on my PC.
What are they?

This threat copies its file(s) to your harddisk. Its typical file name is MPT . Then it creates new startup key with name MPT and value MPT.exe . You can also find it in your processes list with name MPT.exe or MPT .

Sounds good, except that True Sword is listed as a Rogue spyware program , which uses false positives to goad you into buying their $40 program. In all likelyhood, it will end up causing more damage than it solves.
It will probably show up in the legitimate antispyware scanners soon. Unless you installed True Sword already, I cannot guess where it came from.
