Considering the 7-Up web site makes a point in stating the drink has fifteen percent of the daily intake of calcium, one can surmise the calcium is absorbed by the body.

Thanks for the response. However, I was hoping for another source of information besides the manufacturers web site.
The side of the can also states that the drink contains 15% of the RDA of calcium. The ingredients list:
Yes, the calcium therein is absorbable by the body. The following two links explain the applications of calcium gluconate and calcium lactate (as found in milk):

7Up Berry Plus actually looks to me like somebody drizzled a few drops of milk into it – it’s somewhat cloudy.
Oh, but you’d have to drink it. Blech.
Good to know that the calcium does actually seem absorbable, though. Got to keep these companies on their toes.
