720? 1080?

Maybe a new TV for Christmas?

I’ve decided I don’t like Plasma and can’t afford LED (though they’re the prettiest - at least until the OLEDs come out).

After that, is 720i (p?) already archaic? Just ignore it and go for the 1080?

Does the “p” or “i” make a difference?

Black Friday is coming up - maybe big deals in the future.

For ideas of what to expect for X-mas deals. Check out a site like FatWallet. They’ve got a lot of leaked Black Friday ads and there are bound to be some TV deals.
