For another astounding example of child drumming check out this little girl. Despite the Youtube title she was only eight when this was recorded. She had worked on this song for a year with various teachers and was still nervous about being able to get all the way through it without a mistake and so had her mom there, which she knew would help keep her calm (mom’s foot can occasionally be seen in the video). She got through it flawlessly though and that’s the reason for throwing her hand in the air at the end. She’s 17 or so now and the standout player in the band she has with her sisters called The Warning.
