You know what’s even more amazing? In Europe it didn’t happen on 9/11; it happened on 11/9. They reversed time itself!

Someone’s discovered a dark and disturbing truth behind the September 11th attacks again. Must be Friday.
Did some other website declare war on us? Are they having a contest to see who could post the most asinine theory about 9/11? The only logical response to “The buildings literally disappeared into thin air” is “Go Away”.

Finally, someone has stepped forward to clear gravity’s good name. Everyone is always to so eager to point the finger of blame at gravity when something falls down that they aren’t even willing to look for other reasons. Gravity just happend to be in the area meeting the strong force for lunch that fateful day. Really.

As for the Cheney misspeak - there’s a svery simple explanation for that…
He has these little episodes where he twitches and says funny stuff or it spoils his aim…
or maybe he simply had one of those moments like people who occasionally say “Iraq” for “Iran” or vice versa. Not every slip of the tongue is Freudian - as Freud allegedly said (really, he didn’t) “Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.”

And he’s considered to have played the lead role in planning September 11th. You just wouldn’t describe that as “blowing up” the building. Cheney’s imprecise wording hardly casts doubt on the whole thing.
No one believes that the Twin Towers collapsed solely because of gravity. If towers or large structures collapsed solely because of gravity then they would all be periodically falling down. People and governments with a clue know that the towers collapsed because some terrorist assholes flew planes into them. Planes full of jet fuel. These started things called ‘fires’ which, in combination with those plane thingies flying into them at high speed weakened the structural support and integrity of the buildings and, you know, caused them to fall. Once the collapse started, well THEN gravity and all that potential energy stuff took over.
As to the building breaking up on the way down, falling to smaller pieces, some of which went outward in the collapse being some sort of mystery to you and I can say is you should get out more. Stuff doesn’t ever fall perfectly vertically unless you very carefully drop it that way. Get yourself a box of wooden blocks, build a tower and make it collapse and see for yourself. Or, here, watch this one (there used to be a really cool wooden tower collapse that I liked to use for this, but I’m on the road and this was the best I could find right now). Notice how some of the blocks fall outward before going downward? That’s pretty much what happened at the WTC, except there was a lot more material that weighed a lot more and that was failing and breaking apart due to all that gravity and potential energy stuff mentioned previously.
Couldn’t slog through the whole video, since it was basically Chaney bitching about and dissing Obama, but at a guess your quote is the answer…he misspoke.

9/11 was just a plane crash. The conspiracy was Katrina and the resulting flooding. Thousands of pelicans had been wired with explosives that were set off in a precise pattern to cause the air mass to start to circulate.
