Eleven years from today will we all be carrying around 3,4,5 right triangles ?

Where was my 5-12-13 triangle last May?

Uh? 9-16-25 is not a Pythagorean triple.

I might have missed some but nowhere on that list is 9-16-25.

Remember the advice that guys should think about baseball during sex, so they can last longer? I don’t like baseball, so we were discussing other subjects to think about. Zyada suggested trigonometry, to which I replied (with appropriate motions) “three…Four…FIVE!”. No more trig for me! :smiley:

Yeah, but 9-16-25 isn’t even remotely a 3:4:5 ratio. It’s a 3:5.3333:8.3333 ratio.

Yeah, that was a brain fart. Of course, I also understood the OP to be putting forth that a triangle with sides of 9, 16, and 25 fit the theorem…which is also incorrect.
