The button on the parking brake stopped working, so now I can’t apply the parking brake. I can’t really find any information online about this specific thing. How do I fix it?
Is it a pull up type with thumb button?
If so you could just grab another handle from a junk yard.

It sounds like the release is stuck. To identify the offending part, and possibly free up and lubricate it, you’ll have to remove the center console. It has a self-adjusting mechanism I’m not familiar with, and I doubt there’s instructions for anything other than replacing the lever assembly – meaning, once you get in there, you’ll have to figure it out for yourself.
Replacement calls for a special tool to disconnect the cable. Almost certainly there’s a way to do it without said tool, but again it’s something that has to be figured out.
