A Bad Egg

No, but he may be a crock.

At least I’m not a Creek.

:stuck_out_tongue:

I, personally, think lonesome loser was a more appropriate name for vanilla than Good Egg.

Heck, that would describe a lot of the socks who can’t get over being BANNED! from the Dope and have to sneak back in.

Touche.
Yer Pal,
Satan.
What?

This seems a good place to ask: is there a statute of limitations on dealing with returned bannees? I mean, suppose there was someone who is a member in good standing for, I dunno, eight years, with a post count of, say, fifty thousand, and it was eventually discovered that before that, they were banned under another ID for one dumb episode of posting a Ponzi scam message. Would any lenience be shown based on their good standing, or can the past come back to haunt them, no matter how distant and trivial it is?

NB: this scenario doesn’t apply to me (no, really, it doesn’t), or anyone I know; it is a thought experiment in its entirety.

You aren’t Satan. You haven’t annoyed us all with bragging about how much life you’ve saved by giving up smoking.

It would depend if their name was John Turner or not.

Of course that is exactly what I would expect you to say if you were, in fact, a sock.

(Eyes Liberal suspiciously)

Wait, I thought you were my sock.

Are you guys really sure that lonesome loser belonged to Vanilla? Frankly, I find it hard to believe that she could play someone else so well. Good Egg was very similar to Vanilla in style and beliefs, and she never struck me as particularly smart. I find it hard to imagine her convincingly pretending to have the opposite political views, when Vanilla never showed any signs of political sophistication of any sort.

Well Lonesome wasn’t too smart either, just a rabble rouser really. If any are left check its posts. It was usually an annoyance. If people were making a good point, it usually went too far and gave fuel back to the other side and took away from the progress of a debate.

I have to admit to noticing Lonesome a lot more than Bad Egg. Bad Egg was just blah mainly. Lonesome was somewhat bothersome. I actually came close to reporting it as a troll at least ½ dozen times.

Jim

You could always ask Charles Laughton about it, [cockney accent]Ducks.[/Cockney accent]

Or Carroll O’Connor for that matter.

OK, I think this has gone on far enough. Our goal is NOT to give publicity or attention to these multiple-identity jerks. I felt that Bad Egg was a unique situation that called for some explanation on our part; generally speaking, however, we do NOT feel obliged to give explanations for explusion of socks, spammers, multi-identity equine-derriers, and the like.
