A brief note to Verizon: suck it. Suck it hard.

Gah. That is too sensible and it lacks any power cord and other assorted gizmos.
I gave up that kind of stuff last year!!!111!!! I Can’t go back now!
The more I move forward with technology, the more the luddite ways make sense.

I’ve often thought that insurance companies were the ones that stole all the hot cars and things like that so they could charge more insurance to the owner and then have them pay out of pocket expenses for the things that were damaged that they don’t cover.

It’s all a conspiracy.
[puts on tinfoil hat.]

My Verizon online acct has old bills archived - you might be able to go back & look at your calls. You’ll have to re-call them to find out who they are ("Hello, who are you? Do I like you?).

Not in a Ford, they can’t.

Oh dear me. Here you are, one of my absolute favorite Dopers, blaming the wrong people. You don’t want to go back to pen and paper? Cool. Neither would I. When you get your replacement phone, go and getcherself one of these beauties. $ 39.00 bucks and it saves your entire phone book to a USB storage stick. Initially you can set up the new massive phone book of bazillions of entries using the software and a P.C. ( doesn’t go with Mac’s yet. ). Once loaded up, you can use it to back up periodically as you add new numbers on the go.

I carry it with me. ( I use a Mac ) It is a backup. The phone costs what it costs, but it can never again cost me the agita you feel right now, the same agita I’ve felt in the past.

Embrace our new USB Overlods.
