I found this thread to be a nice diversion from completing my FBAR filing.
Don’t give your bank account number to a stranger, unless its the IRS. :smack:
Be sure to disclose the assets in accounts owned by the parents of your foreign spouse because they gave you signatory power over their accounts via a Power of Attorney. Makes for great dinner table conversation. “Hey, papa. I need to get a list of all these account details to give to the IRS.” :eek:
