A challenge for parents (song related)

This is kind of random, but I’m wondering if any mommies and daddies out there can pass this challenge.

(1) Think of your kid when she was born and through her toddler years (Especially little girls, I’m thinking)

(2) Listen to this and read the lyrics.

And finally

(3) Tell me you didn’t have serious dust in your eyes by the end of the first chorus, and by the end you had no choice to step away from the computer and walk around a bit after the end, telling coworkers you were sniffling and your eyes were all red just from catching a cold or something.

Just wondering if I’m alone in this . . .

I’m afraid I find that song kind of excruciatingly annoying. Sorry. No dust.

On the other hand, don’t ask me about In Your Arms and
Cinderella

Hmm . . . kind of hard to picture myself howling that as a lullaby over my daughter’s crib . . . but de gustibus non est disputandum and all that, thanks for sharing it.

It won’t let me see the video because I’m not in the States. What song is it?

I’ll raise you Lullaby by the Dixie Chicks.

Songs for parents of little girls that make the room incredibly dusty?

I raise you “I Loved Her First”.

And I’ll raise you Forever Young
