Secondly, are you serious when you claim that we don’t have government growth which the American people are unable to curtail?

They don’t want to curtail it, except for the other guy. “Get your government hands off my Medicare!” The anti-government movement is fundamentally in denial of reality.

Lets even suppose that a majority of Americans actually want the government to do everything they are doing (this is not the case). If the American people wanted to shrink the government, how would they do it?

By flinging themselves off cliffs so there’s fewer people to govern. Or something equally self destructive; our government is already too small, not too large to do what we want of it.

Even more serious is that the Federal Reserve can spend more money than the entire rest of the government and do it in secret.
