I upgraded my Snoopy handle turned sno-cone maker to a fancy schmancy electric one.
It’s heavy and metal-ish. So, yeah. I’m convinced it’s perfect.
Y’all know I am allowed only 20oz water a day. All liquid combined is a bit more.
So ice chips are what saves me. In this heat it’s nearly unbearable if I stay out long.
Thirst is my evil conjoined twin.
We shaved 24oz of chunk ice. Wow! That’s a pile o’ snow.
It’s magnificent in its wet glory. Thirst…get thee behind me!
I glance over at the grandkids. They are equally impressed.
So…
I did what any self-respecting Nana does: I dished up 6 bowls of shaved ice. Squirted on grenadine. And they had a sno-cone treat.
Win-win. I’m thinking.
The only thing sweeter than the grenadine is you.
I got my measured cup of shaved ice. It’s the last fluid I get til noon tomorrow. I hope it works.
I think the shaved ice can be rubber stamped:
*Eh, it works*
It melts kinda too fast. In my Yeti cup it did ok over night.
The shaving process is quick, tho’. So the shaves are easily replaced.
I’m guardedly optimistic.
I’ve got one of these:
SnoWizard, Inc. Since 1936, the Original New Orleans SnoBall! Flavor concentrates, supplies and equipment for making shaved ice, SnoBalls, and snow cones.
Great way to get through the summer
Yes. Similiar to what I bought.

I saw a snack idea for grenadine snow cones on Google but they were adding lemon-lime pop and condensed milk with the grenadine and ice. That sounds almost more like ice milk but I’m going to try it sometime,
Oooh. That’s gonna be sweet.
But I bet it’s good. You can go to Sonic and order a cherry lime aid/vanilla soft serve frostie and see if it appeals to you.
My brother used to get Orange soda(Fanta?) and vanilla soft serve frostie. He said it tastes like creamsicle.
