Did anyone else watch this on NBC last night? As an Obamaniac, I enjoyed it. It was interesting to watch the way the spin on the Sotomayor story developed, esp. once Obama himself stepped in and said something.
I may actually skip “So You Think You Can Dance” tonight to watch the second hour, esp. since it will have more on Michelle (swoon). What a pair of rock stars, indeed. I know it’s a cliche by now, but you really do have to go back to JFK to find a couple where both the president and the first lady have people so giddy. (People loved Bill Clinton – Hillary, not so much.)
I watched last night and will watch the second part tonight - gotta see more of the family & the puppy! It was neat to be able to see what goes on inside the WH…too much M&M gobbling, though! And who knew that Rahm Emanual’s brother Ari was the inspiration for Ari Gold on Entourage?!
Thanks for posting this, twickster.
Apologies for any mis-spellings (in advance), btw.
He’s probably gonna get it for throwing a basketball in the Whitehouse. Respect for the office and all that.
Maybe NBC just spun it this way but I came away thinking that the White House sure spends a lot of time watching the media and responding/reacting to them.
I know Bush & Co. had a bad habit of ignoring critics and not answering to anyone but it almost seemed Obama’s group goes too far the other way. Feeling they have to answer every complaint from media blowhards.
I just love that the President likes Five Guys’ Burgers (apparently the First Lady found them first). As a native of Virginia, I wholeheartedly approve of this White House policy.
