A lot has to do with sweating. It sits on the skin, and causes pimples. The best way to deal with this is to shower more than once a day if you sweat a lot.
There are medications and what-not that you can use; some are available by doctor’s prescription. Neutrogena makes a good body wash for those of us who are prone to breaking out in weird places.
You’d best not me, or the admins won’t be happy with you!
Acne loves irony. How many pre-pubescents give a hoot what their butt looks like naked?

First, I’d suggest a visit to your friendly MD for a confirmation of your diagnosis. After that, your treatment options are the same as with plain old regular acne. The mainstays of acne treatment are topical retinoids (Differin, Retin-A, Tazorac). These drugs are, however, only available with prescription. Other topical drugs include benzoyl-peroxide (OTC), antibiotics (erythromycin, clindamycin and sodium sulfacetamide), alpha-hydroxy acids, salicylic acid, and azelaic acid.

Let me guess.
Scylla?
Nah, the thread title would have been something like, “I’ve got serious pizza ass.”
Fenris?
Without a butt zit song parody, you’d have a hard time selling me on that one.
JarbabyJ?
I have a feeling that if so, you’d have bemoaned your ass-craters.
Just like with acne/clogged pores elsewhere on your body, you need to exfoliate. You can use Buf Puf pads to wash with, salicylic acid acne meds (mild, probably, for that area) and even Retin A.

For the love of all that is good in this world, see a doctor.
As someone who has had a :o peri-rectal abscess, lemme tell ya, you don’t wanna mess with this stuff. I ended up having surgery and was in the hosptial for 5 days. It ruined my summer as it takes a long time to heal. (Not to mention my nifty new @ss scar!)
Maybe the skin on your backside is oilier than the rest of your skin. Have you considered trying a gentler cleaning product, like maybe facial cleanser? Also, check out what you’re wearing, if your underwear has non-absorbent fabric in it like nylon, you might be sweating or getting kinda oily skin there, and the fabric is holding it on. Heck, if your skin there is oily, try changing your underwear during the day.
If you sleep in the buff, what about your sheets/blankets? Are they possibly irritating it? You can have more and less sensitive skin on different parts of your body, too. I noticed that my upper back and shoulders broke out when I left my hair down a few nights in a row; when I braid or tie it up before bed, then the oil in my hair doesn’t get on my skin. Do you sleep snuggled with someone who might have oily skin?
Just some random thoughts, I’ve never been cursed with a butt boo-boo.
