As you all probably know by now, Persephone aka Cristi Lamb, passed away suddenly a few days ago. She was in her mid-30’s and the mother of two children. I didn’t know Cristi well but I keep thinking about her and her children and how awful it must be for them to lose their mom. Cristi was crazy about her kids and her love and joy for them came through in many of her posts, such as this one dated 3/1/2004:
I know there are many other stories out there that she wrote about Jon and Diana and was hoping you all could help collect them here. When it is complete, then maybe we can mail it to Tim or he could print it out for his kids to read when some time has passed.
My husband lost his mother when she was 50. I know he still treasures the few passages she wrote about him in his baby book. I’m not sure if Cristi kept a diary, but I really think this would be a nice gift for her kids, to Mom’s silly accounts of their lives and remember how much she loved and treasured them.
So if you know of any stories, please add them here, along with the date posted and the thread title.
Ummm, not to pee in your cornflakes, but I suggested that in her original thread, we discussed it, and her threads are being printed out and collected for her kids.
Eve, Yikes. I read through the original thread but somehow missed your suggestion. It’s a great idea and I’m glad someone is putting something together for her kids. I really think they’ll treasure hearing Mom talking about them.
