A hearty 'FUCK YOU' to the FBI

OK, Listen up, you feckless, numb-nutted, pusillanimous fatfuckers! There is a real piece of human trash, a feculent boil on the diseased ass of humanity, that may get a chance to escape his richly deserved, justly awarded, fate because you ignorant examples of microcephalic incompetence can’t get your shit together.

I’m talking about, of course, that revolting example of self-absorbed putrescence, Timothy McVeigh, and your failure to cough-up all the documents regarding your investigation. You (the FBI) are the lead Law Enforcement Agency in these here United States, the standard to which all other agencies are measured. You are charged with the upholding of the law. You are charged with carrying out all the duties assigned you by the court. And, you are charged with carrying out the orders of your director. You fucked away all of those duties, you scrofulous pin-brains!

I don’t care if it was through incompetence or malice, you failed to deliver all the documents required for discovery by McVeigh’s defense, as ordered by the court and by your own director. Not just one, or two, or a dozen, but thousands of documents, and our most celebrated example of malignant slime is likely to get a stay because of your inexcusable stupidity. These documents would likely not have prevented McVeigh’s conviction, nor changed his sentence, nor in any other way prevented justice, had they been delivered in a timely manner, but now, just a week before his execution, you’ve created a circus, you may have at least delayed his execution, and once again, you’ve added fuel to the “Government Conspiracy” fire. You shitslurping panty-wastes have done that enough already, haven’t you? You just couldn’t resist one more monumental cockup, could you, goatblowers?

May you be personally haunted by the shade of every child whom died in Oklahoma City bombing, every night of your usless little lives.

Bah.

Yeah, what Traq said!

Seems a little harsh for an administrative error, donchathink?

You don’t think that every person at the FBI involved with this case didn’t think about the victims every day? It was a federal building that he bombed, and IIRC included a regional FBI office.

This’ll get worked out. So maybe he doesn’t get put down this week. He ain’t going nowhere.

Hell, even I’m not worried about this one and I’m one of those Oklahomans who feel he’s getting off easy with his Death by Lethal Injection.

It’s fucking annoying that it might not happen as scheduled. Parties will have to be rescheduled around here if that fuckwad is given a stay of execution (No, I am not joking).

But he has said several times that he doesn’t want any more appeals. I think his lawyers are just making noise to see themselves on TV.

It’s not like we’re suddenly going to feel sorry for the Heartless Fuck and see him as a victim.

Oh, and like I said in this thread, really the worst part about it is that reporters are going to annoy the crap out of people in OKC to get their feelings about this.

I was right. Heard it on the radio this morning.

this thread,

A bit more serious than an admin error, I think. They have detailed proceedures for Discovery, and blew them. There was an Agency-wide memo from the director. It wasn’t followed. This is the most serious case of it’s type on US soil, so they must have understood how important it was to Do It Right. And they still blew it. Even with the personal incentive of avenging their own. If it was malice that withheld the documents (God, but I pray not: That would open a huge can of worms), then it was even more stupid, as this actually lends credence to the “Government Out Of Control” school of insanity. The FBI has a long string of fuck-ups like this one, tarnishing what should be a shining image. They, as an Agency, desperately need a good, swift, boot in the backside. Maybe then they’ll remember that they’ve a very serious duty, one that they need to treat with almost religeous dedication. We can’t afford sloppiness at that level, fuck-ups at that level are too serious to let slide.

Yes, I know it’ll get worked out, but never the less, this was totally avoidable.

Now, to all you FBI-types out there: If you’re doing it by the numbers, and not goofing-off, I officially absolve you from the “FUCK YOU”. If you’re one of the assholes who screwed this one up, then you get to wear all the “FUCK YOU” that your scrupulous comrades have just shed.

.

Please choose one, dickbreath.

Indeed.

I’d missed that post.

I once saw a live report on one of the Baltimore stations, where a reporter shoved a mic in the face of a father who’d just had to identify his son’s (IIRC) body. This scum asked the father how he felt… The guy kicked the reporter square in the slats, and said 'Now you know…"

I’m thinking that should be the standard course of treatment for all such reporters. If they want the color commentary, they gotta be willing to take the hit…

You know, I responded to you in a civil manner.

They can have 'em both. One for the people whom fucked up the discovery process, and one for the agency as a whole. Too hard for you to figure out? Lemme know, and I’ll use smaller words next time.

Oops, sorry, I just descended to your level.

This Just In:

Yeah. You did. Immediately after admonishing friends of mine to

Remember that one, sparky?

You have no fucking hint of a clue of a shade of an idea. Everyone I know who works for the FBI was personally affected by this case, even more than by the WTC bombing. They put their hearts and souls into the case, and they tried as best they could to dot every i and cross every t.

And yeah, someone along the way fucked up. Lemme tell you something, the folks at FBI are doubtless crushed by this.

How tempting must it have been, when the documents were discovered, to put them in a burn bag and make them disappear forever? Or at least have them come public next week rather than this week? But that would have encouraged the conspiracy theorists. Instead, they stood up and voluntarily admitted their error to ensure that complete justice is done.

The fuckup is/was huge. But disclosing it may be one of the FBI’s finest hours. There will be agents crying at their dinner tables tonight over this. They don’t need you piling on.

The thing is, you’re serious, aren’t you? Think of it this way: when the Mars lander plummeted through the atmosphere and slammed into the surface of our neighbor planet and NASA came forward to say “Uh, heh, we, uh, forgot to change to metric,” was that a bright shining moment for NASA? They too had spent years and millions, if not billions, on that one piece of equipment. Nevermind the collateral personnel and research…

Anyway, to say that the FBI, whom admittedly is not, as an agency, responsible for this, to say they should be lauded for coming forward is asinine. People lose jobs, careers are lost and ruined for mistakes like this in the private sector, with no publicity. You don’t just misplace thousands of pages of documentation, especially when you are “put[ting] their hearts and souls into the case, and they tried as best they could to dot every i and cross every t.” They didn’t miss one interview with a guy on the street, they neglected to turn over thousands of documents.

Even though it’s an annoying development, manhattan’s got a point.

McVeigh so casually dismisses the children that died as “collateral damage” because they weren’t his targets. It was the agencies like the FBI that had offices in the building that he was aiming for. The Federal investigaors had a personal reason for being thorough.

While I wasn’t involved in any way in the investigation even I could see how hard those guys were working. Just as hard as the Oklahoma resident investigators and a lot of people here appreciate their efforts and made a point of telling them so if they got the chance.

It’s because they were so careful that the trial didn’t drag on for longer.

Now, if only they didn’t have to let the rat fucker talk to the press… [sub]I know it’s not their fault. It’s just a gripe of mine[/sub]

You betcha. People will lose their jobs and careers over this, too. But institutionally, the FBI did the right thing. See, the difference between FBI and NASA is that there is not a bunch of whackos spouting off about the ZOG and running around in fatigues because NASA covers stuff up. And this stuff didn’t appear as a result of a defense motion (motions were made, but that did not turn up the documents), they showed up when an archivest put out a call for documents. One single burn bag would have covered this error forever.

Sheesh, you seem like someone who has never seen 3,100 pages of documents. It’s not rows and rows of file cabinets; it’s about half a trans-file box. I have more than 3,100 pages on my window ledge. The investigation produced hundreds of thousands of documents running to millions of pages from over 40 field offices. It includes every phone call from every crank who says that they had a dream about the case, everyone who said that their neighbor looks like the composite drawing they released, every newspaper article about the bombing.
Look, yes, it’s a fuckup. And it’s big. And it is bringing needless anguish to the victims and their families.

But knowing more facts, and really thinking abou it, would you opine that the error rises to the level of condemning the errants to

Because frankly, that’s one of the most disgusting things I have ever seen in print.

Yup I sure do. I also remember including this little item:

You’ll note that was before you went off, while we were still being civil. Read much?

I’ve spent my time in law enforcment roles. I know just how hard it is. Close friends have died in the line of duty. Others of my friends have lost loved ones in the line of duty. You might ask before you declare my ‘cluelessness’. In other words: Wrong, try again.

If everyone you know in the FBI Did It Right, then I’m not talking to, or about, your friends, now am I? I regret not putting the above quoted disclaimer in the first post, but it is there, and it was there before you went ballistic.

As well one might expect.

Fine: To the Archivist whom found the documents, Thank You. You did your job, unlike some other(s).

It’s called integrity. It’s expected. The loss of integrity should always hurt, but too frequently that loss only hurts the ones whom still have it, and those whom that integrity should have served. Somebody(ies) at the FBI let an entire nation down. You’re damn straight there should be some tears.

No, that’s not the most disgusting thing in print; THIS is:

This fuck-up is more and more looking to drag all the victims back into hell. It was totally preventable.

Tranq,

When you repost with short words for manhattan’s benefit, how about dropping that incredibly annoying usage of whom in the place of whom?

Tranq,

Well, festive fuck.

According to Eve in the other thread that ass Ashcroft postponed the execution for another month.

Well, I suppose a cook out for all the Finality Parties is more appropriate anyway.

manhattan, I will concede that my ire does not burn at the “personally haunted …” level, but it’s pretty damn hot. I’ll submit that I would not wish a fate of nightmares upon the people that are in service to our Country because someone(s) left a door open though which these jackals might seek to lessen their plight, to point fingers and say “See, we were set up!” however thin their claims might be.

I’ve got to run for the weekend, but I wanted to comment. Again, I appreciate that, as you made mention of, ~3,000 pages is no wall of paper, but it is a noticable amount, by any standard. Put it in a box, most people would still notice it. Attach the importance of this case to someof the papers and you’d think there would be a giant red flag pasted to the thing with lights and bells to help peole keep track of it.

A little tongue in cheek to dial things back: if you don’t think people are getting all dressed up and hatching conspiracy theories because of stuff NASA does not release to the public, well, I guess we’re thinking of different NASAs. :stuck_out_tongue:
