A major fly problem

I have a problem with "house flies,"every day when i get home from work ,there are 15 to 25 big fat flies in my house. I can get rid of 95 to 99% of them, and yet the next day,BOOM there they are more flies in the house.I have walked around the house on both the outer and inner perimiters and can find no point of entrance. What my thinking is that perhaps something has died in the frame of the house(it is a modular home),and perhaps the flies are breeding in the carcass. The windows are screened by the way and there isn’t a lot of foot traffic in and out of the house.I am the only person living here.
Can someone please tell me what to do about this situation? :smack:

I had the same problem in my basement last year. I would put up fly strips, and the next day, all 4 fly strips would be full. Like 200 flies! I finally solved the problem with something I bought at Home Depot. It is this white plastic thing that kind of looks like an air freshener. On the case it says “Hot Shot”. It took care of those suckers for good, adn it lasts 4 months or so. Read the instructionas and warnings though, as some pets and such may be sensitive to it without proper ventilation. Good luck! ( I still do not know where the flies came from, but they haven’t been back)

I should mention that it can be found with all the pest removal/ fly trap thingys. (just in case).

Fly traps outside help too. The smell bad, however, and I wouldn’t use them in a small yard or with nearby neighbors.

Basically, they are plastic bags filled with a foul smelling lure and water. The flys go in through a maze at the top, can’t find their way out, and eventually drown. Each trap holds something like 10,000 flies. I had three of them in my yard last year, and each bag was absolutely full by the end of the year.

You can buy them at farm supply stores like TSC.
