A New "Feud" Game For Folks Who DON'T Follow the Herd

Yes, thanks!

Not my best score ever, but not my worst either. That was fun.

12th out of 41 isn’t too bad, it looks like the reverse-reverse-psychology worked out.

and where is Winnipeg, my unique answer? Please correct my score!

Tied for 10th, I’ll take that. Thanks for a fun game!

Unique, and wrong. Winnipeg is the capitol city of Manitoba. You might be happier if you don’t get your full credit for that answer. :stuck_out_tongue:

That was a fun game. I didn’t do as well as I hoped, but it was challenging. Thanks!

Nevermind.

Good feud and I hope everybody plays next Thursday reverse feud.

I thought of Milosz, but I wasn’t sure if he’d be considered “American enough”. I figured Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn would be considered analogous to Kipling – lived in the USA but never truly American. Had I selected Czeslaw, I’d have finished second, but I’ll take the tie for fourth, as well as the satisfaction of having had one unique answer (Issachar).

As someone pointed, out Winnipeg is a city, not a province.

I preferred not to embarrass anyone by pointing out errors.

Considering Kipling wrote the works which he won the award for in the US and his children were born here it seemed a better than average chance of getting allowed since you never said anything about citizenship.

Also, I’m kicking myself for not saying University of Chicago for the Big Ten schools.

See what I get for not reading the rules first…

I read the rules…man, that’s bad.

And both lived in Vermont! Brattleboro (Kipling) and Cavendish (Solzhenitsyn).

I think that would be technically wrong, since University of Chicago is not currently “in the Big Ten.”

Although, they were a founder of the conference.

And it’s nice to actually win a feud for once. I’ve yet to finish above 12th place in any of the others. I typically sit between 12-16.
