Found this opinion piece on CNN about a possible posthumous pardon in the works for Mr. Mojo Rising. I knew there was some sort of legal mess leading to him going to Paris, but I didn’t realize what a farce the trial appears to have been. Really doubt his legacy is going to change regardless of whether a pardon is granted, but it would be nice to clear his name…
I think it would detract from his legacy to have him pardoned. It’s much edgier to have died as a weenie-wagger on the run.
How edgy can a guy that’s been dead for 40 years possibly be?
Kind of a waste of time, but a nice gesture.
