A pile of diamonds

If all the diamonds (gem-quality only) that have ever been mined were placed into a single pile, how big would it be?

I would think that for someone with the OP’s name, the answer would be obvious: it would be big enough for one ancient dragon’s horde!

Dunno about the world production, but at the Big Hole of Kimberley, the world’s largest diamond mine where the De Beers companay originated, there’s a sign saying that all the diamonds mined there (a total of 2,722 kilograms, or 14.5 million carats) would fill three of these dump trolleys they use in mining.

Thanks for the responses - I remembered reading about how all the gold that had ever been mined would make a 50’ cube (this was many years ago), and I wondered the same thing about diamonds.
