Kicker is not actually on-board yet, having received some unpleasant news the day after our DopeFest (but unrelated thereto). A man whom she considered her professional mentor and for whom she had the greatest respect passed away unexpectedly a few days earlier, which as you can imagine is a major bummer (to put it mildly). She is coping as well as can be expected, but is not in a mood to chat at the moment. OTOH, tomorrow’s her birthday and we’re dining with lots of friends, so hopefully it will lift her spirits. Watch this space.
