I’d heard “rabbit punch” used to refer to hitting people on the back of the head, but I would never have connected it with killing rabbits. The way I was taught to kill rabbits was by a sharp pull and twist of the head - you know the way people break necks in action movies? Similar, only with one hand on the neck, the other holding the rabbit still, and it actually works. I was taught on farm rabbits, but several of my classmates knew the exact same method and at least two of them were hunters.

That happened to a guy I went to high school with. One punch to the back of the neck and he dropped.
Well, I also know what a Cleveland Steamer is, but I blame Comedy Central shows for that. And just because I know what it is, doesn’t mean I’m going to run around doing it, so I don’t feel like our society is all that troubled.
Certain sexual acts themselves may be uncommon, but pop culture ensures that a fair part of the population hears references to them.
As compared to wholesome ancient societies in which deities had phalluses the size of a baseball bat and ran around raping nymphs, right?
We humans have dirty minds and like dirty jokes. Donkey punch is just the latest manifestation of that tendency.
