A question regarding the book Darwin's Black Box

Please dig up an old thread if you want to debate! This is an honest-to-God question!
Am I correct in thinking that the concept he portrays in the book is that Darwins Theory of Evolution is the black box, and that the black box does indeed work as Darwin stated, but that the parts that make up the box do not follow the rules of the box itself?

Sorry if thats confusing. I had the chance to read some of the first chapter but I don’t have access to the book anymore and am deciding on whether or not to buy it.

Is this the alterego of the other thread?

no actually, this is his alterego.
