A Runtime Error has occurred. Do you wish to Debug?

I’m running IE 5.5 on a Win 98 system and from time to time when I load a page I get a message box displaying the topic sentence. If I click no, everything goes on as normal (though some pages bring up a series of message boxes that have to be clicked before the page fully loads). If I click yes, the Microsoft Development Environment loads up and I find myself in a debugger. If I end the debugging process, it closes down, and so does the Explorer window. The only major change that I’ve made to my system (that I can remember) is upgrading to Office 2K.

How do I avoid getting that message box? It does me no good, I don’t know the first thing about debugging (java? ActiveX?) and want to go back to the good old days when pages loaded up without any complaints. I’ve looked under tools/ options, but nothing seems to stand out. Any suggestions?
Thanks,

Tools->Internet Options->Advanced

Click on Disable script debugging

Ah, a nice and simple solution. Thanks!
