A Short Movie About Chubs

I went to see MIB II tonight and before it started there was an adorable short movie called “Beware of the Chubs” or “The Chubs Are Coming” or something to that effect. It stars a cute little alien whose dream it is to be a nightclub singer. He’s trying to warn people that the chubs are coming and then he meets up face to face with them. Lest I be forced to find more synonyms for cute, let me just say once and for all that the adorability of the movie is astounding. Now I’d very much like to find out more about the movie or its creators, or even see it online if it’s available. I have googled, but probably due to my inferior searching skills I have been unable to find anything, although I have discovered that “chub” has a popular alternative meaning (cough cough).

Anyway, if somebody else has seen this movie or knows where I could find information, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I’m just glad it wasn’t a movie about short chubs.

The ChubbChubbs are Coming! is Sony’s secret weapon. They’re using it to show that Sony’s CGI animation unit is as good as Pixar’s or Dreamworks’. It wasn’t even supposed to be released-just an experiment to see if they could do a cartoon while doing special effects for a major motion picture at the same time. They can.
