A suprise for me yesterday.

I went into my barn yesterday around noon, and found this!

New Hershey

I knew my goats were preggers, but I didn’t expect any so soon. I named her Hershey. Here she is a few hours later.

Hershey Playing

Eee, cute goatlet!

Squee. Definitely squee. Also “woobie woobie woobie, who’s my little cute fluffy baby?”

Cute

Awww! So cute.

I hear the turkeys talking in the background. Do they think Hershey is cute too?

Love those wobbly legs!

Oh, das, who da cutesy widdoe fwoppy-wiggley bebeh goat! How darling is that? I love goats, even when they’re all grown up and not as cute but the baby ones have a really unfair amount of cuteness packaged in a teeny body. I love the way they leap around, they’re so fearless.

Nice job there FarmerChick, good work–what breed is little Hershey?

If I ever get a few acres to call my own, I’m gonna get goats. They’re so cuuuuute! And they make good weed whackers too.

Cute kid! I mean kidlet. I mean goatlet. I mean cute!

Ooh, a cuteness of goat! ) Legs all bendy everywhere! I want one, but I suppose there just might be rules against goats in city high-rise apartments block. Boo. Envy is me.

That is just too much adorableness. I want a goatlet!

Eee, I love baby goats! I visited a horse rescue centre today and they had all sorts of animals, including baby goats. Love is a cuddly wee goat making that little “Bleh-eh-eh!” noise!

ohmigod.

ohmigod ohmigod ohmigod. [laughing hysterically] They look just like a crowd of people! Idiotically following you around. You can SEE them mumbling to each other, Well, I dunno, do you think we should…? I dunno, what d’you think…?

How can you stand it? I’d die, the first day.

Awww. Who would have dreamed that goats could be so cute?

Hershey is adorable!

(I wonder if he’ll get his own account on the SDMB? :D)

Awwww! What a cute little chubby fluffy goatlet! You’ll have pics when the others are born?

Is this a new rule? Pictures in all goat threads?

SQUEE!

I have one pure Toggenburg, her daughter is 1/2 Alpine, the other 2, including Hershey’s Mom and Aunt, are 3/4 Nubian and 1/4 Boer. They are milking goats.

Haha! I do have fun with my critters! My mother calls me the Pied Piper of the Farm. All my animals are socialized, I hate it when people are afraid of critters. Lots of people seem to have bad memories of turkeys and chickens, and I do understand that. Kids love coming out here to see the animals, yesterday 3 neighbours brought their kids over to check out the newest, and these guys are all cattle farmers! LOL!

I am glad you guys enjoy my videos, I make them so my friends and family can see what I’ve been up to. And of course I will be posting more as other babies come!

Oh, god, the turkeys. When you whistle and they gobble in response… Aahahhhahhaa.

Hah. Turkeys.

CUTE!!! Cutiecutiecutiecutiecutiecutie!! And love the turkeys. And dog. Love.
