Why? Provided she actually finds a publisher, this should make her an utter laughingstock and destroy any effort she has to raise money for future election efforts. (And it would be unlikely that she would make much money off it; she will probably have more sales to mean-spirited Democrats looking for a laugh than to disaffected Republicans or the undecided electorate.) She is rich enough to self-publish, of course, but then who will distribute it? Is she going to sell it off her web page or the back of her car trunk?
I am intrigued and would like to subscribe to Katherine Harris’ newsletter. This has all the hallmarks of an entertaining trainwreck.
This makes me think, what other politicians would I like to write a tell all? Hillary Clinton, maybe? That Scooter guy that worked for Cheney? I bet Mark Foley is working on his right now.

And I’d go to the library, anyway. Like I want Katherine Harris to have any of my money.
Though you do know that Ms Harris is going to get some of the library’s money (and even more if they have to buy multiple copies to satisfy all those cheap Democrats/liberals/independents). But that will probably make them happy, because it all comes from the extra taxes that they love paying.
Well, I love a whiney bitchfest as much as the next person, but I’ve got to agree that this plan – if it actually comes to fruition – would certainly reflect worse on Ms. Harris than it would on the GOP.
That occurred to me, but I decided that the Chicago Public Library’s audience is such that my personal responsibility for each book they buy is very minimal. And I do like paying taxes to have such a nice library system*! The CPL’s main branch is 9 stories tall and takes up a whole block. It has its own el stop. Mmmm…books…
*Except for the fact that you can’t renew books online. WHY?
I’d buy it (or at least check it out on the rack). She’s actually pretty shapely.
I can just picture liberals throwing money at Harris, hoping to hear the “real” story of how the election was stolen from Al Gore in 2000… only to find that Harris’ book is a waste of perfectly good trees, filled with pointless sniping at everyone who ever treated her like an oddball (which she plainly is).
I have the weird feeling that this book would have a sex scene in it. Call me crazy, but I can just see Boobs McWhineyloser wanting to spice things up a bit.
I am a dedicated liberal and feminist. But Katherine Harris manages to bring out the caveman fantasies.
