Is that a gun in your pocket or are you just glad to see me?

The sheriff has doxxed all 31 arrestees, including Patriot Front founder Thomas Rousseau.

Thoughts and prayers.

In other words, the Republican party.

Is that legal to release their names? Not that I care that much, just wondering.

I don’t see why it wouldn’t be - the names of arrestees are a matter of public record, and the public has the right to know who’s being incarcerated. I’m more surprised that they released their home addresses.

Most rental trucks that I have dealt with had latches on the rear door that looked something like this:

They have interlocks to prevent them from being accidentally opened or closed. But that is some serious hardware, and there is no way to open them from the inside.

I would never in a million years allow myself to be enclosed in a truck with one of those latches, even if it was my dear old mother on the outside. (Well, mainly because I doubt my mother would be able to figure out how to undo the interlocks.)

If these Patriot Front idiots allowed some of their brothers to lock them inside a truck like this, they are clearly too stupid to breathe. Unfortunately, someone opened the door before they all stopped breathing.

That’s actually the best part of it. These jackasses had to import people from all over the country, to even get 31 of them in the back of this van. Meanwhile, I heard the Pride event had about a thousand people there, and I’m betting they’re mostly local.

As much press as these jackasses get, when push comes to shove, they’re a tiny minority of people.

Reports also indicate those 31 men are actually members of Antifa on a false flag mission. So they must have been infiltrating the Patriot Front to bring them down. Wait until their friends find out about this.

Wouldnt that false flag have been more effective if successful?

Of course it’s legal. Anytime criminal charges are brought, it’s a matter of public record unless the defendant is a juvenile. This is nothing new.

Even if the sheriff hadn’t released the names, all the media had to do was go down to the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office and asked for them.

My local newspaper (back in the days when newspapers weren’t on their last legs) had a section every day listing the names of everyone who had been arrested that day. It wasn’t a prominent section, you have to specifically look for it, but it was there.

I’ve always assumed that most newspapers do the same.

So, given that the founder of the “movement” was there and arrested as well, does that mean that the whole Patriot Front is false-flag? The cognitive dissonance is strong with the Alt-Right blog/social media-sphere.

Indeed, those Antifa sure ar dum. Some of them were the same Antifa who marched in Charlottesville.

Very much so. I’m starting to think that this is the primary characteristic of the Trumpists. It’s not racism. hatred, love of guns or love of Trump, opposition to anyone who isn’t cis, heterosexual, and white, and other such bigotry. It’s their inability to change their mind once they’ve made a decision, no matter how much evidence comes to light that their conclusion could be wrong.

The sheriff publicizing the names and addresses was probably the best way to head off any stupid inquiries about it being a false flag operation.

It’s amazing how they were all recruited at birth.

My local paper has stopped posting this information on their website, as have many other papers around the country. This is because it’s usually scraped automatically from public records and provided without context. And while these people aren’t necessarily guilty, having your name and picture plastered into a “mugshots” gallery absolutely makes you look guilty.

There are also issues about reinforcing systemic biases. We know that a black person is more likely to be arrested for a given crime than a white person, and that’s reflected in these mugshots galleries.

Still, it is public information.

For those who want to meet The Boys … here they be:

Conservative boards are loaded with speculation that these guys were FBI plants because of their physical appearance.
