Also, would we just allow threads that are (seen by many as) great threads in and of themselves, or would we also include a few threads that are fascinating because they happen to capture some important historical moment (e.g, Sept. 11, 2001)?
What about the ‘Would you shoot and kill your kid in this situation’ thread, that’s got to be in the running.
That thread would definitely NOT get my vote for inclusion into a SDMB HoF. (Just too damn creepy, IMHO. YMMV)
ETA: A seemingly good idea, at first thought, but as others have posited, it would likely become a contentious subject, IMHO.
