A very small thing which has made me disproportionately happy

I have just noticed the IMDb rating for the movie This Is Spinal Tap.

It currently stands at 7.9… out of 11.

Here is theIMDb link. That 11 is barely noticeable, but it’s there, as it should be.

I don’t know the movie well, but got the reference. That’s fantastic. Damn, somebody put in a special piece of code to do that.

It ticks me off that we can’t put the umlaut over “n.”

All the volume controls on the BBC website, iPlayer etc go up to 11. It’s one louder, innit.

Why n̈ot?

“Why not just make 10 louder?”

“These go to 11.”

(Does anyone else think this thread belongs in Cafe Society?)

Thanks for pointing that out. And kudos to IMDB for making it so subtle.

The tagline is great, I hadn’t seen it before:

There’s a fine line between MPSIMS and Cafe Society.

Didya notice that David St. Hubbins is now turning into Dr. Johnny Fever?

Check out “Good Omens” and see…

Without excluding anyone else, especially Christopher Guest, I have to say that when I was a kid watching Laverne and Shirley I had no idea the greatness that was within Lenny.

It is surprising, most people thought Squiggy* was the real talent.

*David Lander is suffering from MS, but he’s been working as recently as 2016.

How’d you do that? Tell me, TELL ME! Please? I’ll be your friend!

Ö. I can over an O.
Ñ, that’s as good as I can get over an N
