Soldiers in Afganistan are fighting a ten foot tall marijuana forest. The Taliban fighters hide in it. It’s too wet to burn, and absorbs so much energy the heat sensing equipment they use to find people doesn’t work.
It’s even caused some ill effects in some Canadian soldiers
I’d joke that this will be cited as further reasoning to maintain the narcotic classification back here in the states, but with my comedic luck they’ll actually do so.
