While neither mundane or pointless I wanted to share this with you all here. I called AAA personally and they confirmed that they provide this service every year. Here’s the flyer as it was given to me:

"The AAA Auto Club and Budweiser partners up each ear to provide the holiday season “Tow to Go” program to help prevent impaired drivers from taking to our roadways. The program is free to anyone. Simply call 1-800-AAA-HELP. A tow truck will be dispatched to your location, hook your car up, and give you a ride home. If you have more passengers than the tow truck cab can accomodate, then they will call a cab free of charge.

Please, plan your holiday season responibly, choose a designated driver ahead of time, call a friend, or simply don’t drink if you’re the only driver. Otherwise, remember this free service, it could save your life or someone else’s. "

Here in a city by me its called “Holiday Safe Ride”. If you have too much to drink you can ask your server to call a cab for you. They take you home free of charge. I guess you have to find your own way back to your car the next day, though. It’s a great program.
