AAAhhhhhhhh!!! I caused a calamity at work!!!

My first stupid week back at stupid Sally’s and this has to stupid happen.
My stupid register came out 100 stupid dollars over for no reason!!! Not one we can find, anyway. I flipped register 1 and register 2 and put the wrong cash drawers in the wrong registers. We thought that might be the problem, but I just talked to my manager and she said there is no way that could have caused 100 dollars to materialize out of nowhere.

And I can’t shake the feeling that this whole stupid thing is my stupid fault because I closed and counted that stupid register. Everything is stupided up because I can’t manage the intricacies of a stupid cash register.

STUPID STUPID STUPID!!!
i’m scared i’m going to get fired.

hugs Don’t worry. Breathe. You won’t get fired.

Although it looks like you’ve caused a calamity here, too, what with the three identical posts that materialized out of nowhere here.

Stupid triple-posted threads.

Sounds like it’s time for a stupid party at torie’s crib.

I blame the candle demons.

Over is always good. Short gets you fired. Stupid woman! (Sorry, having Hallo, Hallo flashback)

Do you mean 'Allo, 'allo! ?

Listen to me carefully, I will say this only once…

Don’t worry, if they know you didnt take the 100, then you wont get fired. 100 bucks really isnt much, considering how much is taken in in a single day.

i was 20 short one day (when i worked at petsmart), but the managers knew that if it was my fault, it was just a mistake. didnt get fired.

Could be worse. You coulda been $100 short.

So I guess your boss is going to try to track down the people that were accidentally shorted instead of keeping the money? HAHAHAHAHAHA that was a good one, thanks, I’m here till Wednesday …

The karma will balance out…

tee hee!

oh i read that wrong. you were 100 over?? that really shouldnt be anything to sweat over, really.

actually, where I worked being over was as much a sin as being under (at least the big-wigs claimed that). If our registers came up off three times, over or under, we were fired. But, if this is the first time for you, I don’t think you have to worry

Well, I called my manager at home to tell her about it. She was appreciated the fact that I let her know so it won’t be a big suprise tomorrow.

I hope I didn’t stupid it all up for everyone. Opening and closing is really stressful when the money is off. I’m just getting to know these people and I don’t want to start being known as the stupid one. I’m really more worried about that, being that I already let my boss know.
Horseflesh you and all other dopers are cordially invited to a stupid fly fresh party at my crib.

By any chance did you have many cashiers who only worked there three shifts?
