ABCs of Horror

I saw The ABCs of Death not too long ago (and I liked it), then I came across a mention of it on a horror message board with the idea for a game. So, since the 31st is right around the corner, I figured I’d see if anyone else wanted to play.

The premise is simple… after the post before yours, take the next letter of the alphabet to name a matching horror movie. Then everyone just keep going until we peter out. Obviously, I’ll start with the lowest hanging fruit.

Amityville Horror

Now, who has a B to scare us?

Blood on the Highway. Sure, it was a Driver’s Ed movie, but it sure scared me, and lots of people were running out of the auditorium.

Creature From The Black Lagoon. I saw it in 3-D, once.

Drag Me to Hell

Ha. I remember this. Very creepy for back in the day.

That “gumming” scene makes me shudder every time. Ugh.

Now, I get to pick the all time best, my favoritest horror movie ever!

The Exorcist

Fright Night

Though more funny than scary, I guess…

Ghost Story.

Hell House

I Spit On Your Grave.

Jaws

The Karate Kid, 2010 remake
(Well I was horrified by it…oh, ok.)

Killer Klowns from Outer Space (1988)

Last House on the Left (original only!)

M

(with Peter Lorre)

Night of the Living Dead

The Omen

The Phantom of the Opera

Quarantine.

R is for Rosemary’s Baby,
A diabolical child.

(If we’re doing ABCs, we ought to do it right, no? :D)

S is for Sssssss.

The Texas Chain Saw Massacre
