Another “Star Trek” (original series) idea: I recall reading a long time ago that there was one episode in the works that would have centered on Bones & Uhura being stranded on a planet. The catch was that on this world, blacks are the ‘dominant’ race and whites were the discriminated-against ‘minorities.’ (And possibly, females being the dominant gender as well.) This world would have been a pre-warp speed level society, and the pair would have been forced to disguise themselves - with Bones pretending to be Uhura’s slave. But then, with the amount of racial tension following MLK’s assassination, the script was dropped as being too incendiary. I know I read about this, but don’t have a cite. Any die-hard Trek fans ever hear of this?

I’ve heard of it, but I don’t recall any particular reason for it not happening, other than it was just never picked up.

I stopped watching CSI when Grisson left, but did they ever resolve the storyline about the home-invaders/rapists/murderers that broke in and locked the family in the closet - where the father listened to his daughter being raped. The daughter stepped up to identitfy them and for some reason they were cut loose, when they came back and killed her?

It ended with something from Grissom saying he’d solve it, but I don’t recall it ever ending?

In the previous season (3) of Dexter, an internal affairs cop starts pestering Debra about her partner Quinn, implying that he’s mixed up in something illegal. She puts a lot of heat on Debra to help with the investigation, but Debra keeps telling her to fuck off. I don’t remember anything ever coming of that.

As we discussed in the season 4 running Dexter thread, this did indeed get resolved - just in a way that was so boring that no one actually remembers it being resolved. See here

ISTR the Alien Nation TV series had a bit where it was revealed that, in the movie when James Caan’s partner was killed, he was actually killed by a sniper just before the movie’s kill shot struck. They were working for a conspiracy storyline in the show, and I was intrigued by it. It disappeared rather quickly, so I think I was the only one.

In The King of Queens Kerri had a sister. What the heck ever happened to her? She was hot!

As far as SOA goes; I’m not entirely sure they were going to bring Half-Sac himself back. I guess they did some market research and thought better of it.

That’s pure speculation of course.
