Abortion by false pretense

Looking through an old Next Men comic, one of the women are told the 5 month fetus she carries is deformed and is counseled to have an abortion. Later, it is revealed that the fetus was perfectly healthy; the Next Men controller just wanted the kid out of the way so he could maintain control over the woman.

Isn’t this a crime? how would something like this be prosecuted?
