As it happens, I’m going to be in Ottawa this week and will be in the area around the Court. I will walk down Vittoria Street towards the cathouse confident in my expanded knowledge of the Parliamentary precincts!

right - I’m back from Ottawa - and I’d not looked at the Federal Court Annexe closely for a while, since it’s just part of the landscape - man, it needs paint! I also chatted with an old friend, who confirmed that it’s now a heritage property. You would think that at some point, heritage designation is worth a tin of paint.
No doubt shamed into action by the critical comments on this thread, the federal heritage bureaucracy has creaked into action!
I was in Ottawa a while ago and lo and behold, the Annexe has been scraped, primed and re-painted! They did a nice job - still a simple white frame building with black trim, but it looks neat and tidy.
Rejoice and revel in your power, O Dopers!
And I was just threatening to go to Ottawa!
