I would say she only had her shit together when she had handlers. Once she reached “mature” adulthod, that was when she began fucking up.
She got married in Las Vegas and divorced less than two days later in January 2004. Four months later she met Federline, and three months after that, married him.
Very stupid decisions, but she was 22 at the time. Not a child. Old enough to vote, old enough to drink, old enough to handle her own affairs, by every societal norm.
