Agree. We are reasonable people. Congress seems to think it’s just fine to kill people though.
The entire war was unjustifiably started.
It’s also increasingly apparent that it was STUPIDLY started. A sovereign state starting a war has a responsibility to not only do so when no other options remain, but to do so in a way that is responsible and limited to the necessary actions. Sometimes that means a small war with limited objectives, sometimes you just have to do everything possible within the laws of war. Either way, having some plan for not allowing things to spiral out of control is a moral necessity.
It is now clear the USA and Israel shambled into this with no clear plan, and Trump, being a sociopathic narcissist, provides no leadership at all, and it is absolutely a significant possibility that his primary motivation, or a significant one, was distraction from the increasing evidence that he rapes teenaged girls. They’ve started killing people and don’t know how to stop.
It is this.
On the other hand, killing innocent girls in their school is apparently OK.
I wonder if there is some gender or racial indifference going on in what passes for his brain.

I stopped wondering. That fat chauvenist orange self-glorifying pig has never ever cared for a girl or woman, except for what he gets out of the transaction, and Muslim Iranian girls thousands of kilometres away from Mar a Largo are not going to marry him and/or put out. So his thoughtless process is “murder them in a fake war”.
Granted, he did not personally target and fire the missile. But he is capable of offering an apology and reparations to the parents.
I’m not so sure about Israel not having a clear plan. I think they’ve gotten what they wanted: the US on the other hand doesn’t have a plan at all. At least not an end game. I think most of us, even those of us who don’t think sinking this ship was a war crime, would agree this whole thing is a bad idea.
If Israel had a clear plan it sure it’s working. The war isn’t ending, Tel Aviv and other Israeli cities have taken more damage than Israel is admitting to, they’re stuck in Lebanon again, and they’re joined at the hip to Donald Trump, the dumbest, most evil, least reliable ally one could possibly imagine.
For the record, I live in Tel Aviv, or close enough, and I haven’t seen any evidence of greater damage than that reported, either in person or online. The internet in Israel is still open, free and very active, and I don’t think the government would be able to hide major damage if it wanted to. I guess we’ll see. The fact that they’re firing cluster munitions now is kind of scary, though.
As for Lebanon, there’s actually some progress being made, with signs of talks going on between Israel and the Lebanese government. I have some faith that something may come out of it, mainly because the U.S. isn’t involved - the French government is mediating, and they’re invested in calming things down.
Can’t argue with you about Trump.
