Moray and Murray are different spellings of the same name. The first is now used for the area in the north of Scotland and the second is the surname which came from the placename. They’re pronounced the same in Scotland, to rhyme with ‘hurry’.
I’ve only ever heard the rhyme in the first-person: “I had a tiny turtle, his name was Tiny Tim.”
